OUR POLICIES
It is very important to us that each puppy is placed in a loving, forever home and that we maintain a lifelong relationship with each family or individual that purchases one of our pups. Therefore you must be willing to stay in touch with us through our private Facebook page. This not only helps for future litters but is also very rewarding to see each dog grow up and progress through the years. If you are not okay with that level of contact and involvement, that is fine... however, we will not be a good fit for you.
Before applying for a puppy, please keep in mind Dobermans are an active, working breed who need a lot of training, exercise and socialization. Please be certain that you can commit to the time and effort needed to attend training classes, provide adequate (as in lots and lots) of exercise, post ears, clean up poop and provide lots of love. All of our pups ALWAYS have a home with us! If at any time or any point during the dogs life, whether it be 1 year or 10 years old, if you are no longer able or willing to care for the pup/dog we will ALWAYS take him/her back! Any dog born here will never end up homeless or in a shelter. We provide LIFETIME BREEDER SUPPORT!
We DO REQUIRE a fenced yard or area. Invisible fences are not acceptable. Even if you have hundreds of acres, we still require a PHYSICALLY fenced area. No fence, No puppy.
We crop ALL puppies ears. NO exceptions.
Getting on a Waiting List
You must complete our puppy application (link toward bottom of Litterbox page) to get on our waiting list. Note that being on our waiting list does not guarantee you a puppy, it only guarantees that you will be considered for one of our puppies and we will do the legwork of checking references, having phone conversations with you, possibly doing a home check, etc. If you are approved for one of our puppies, you will then be asked to place a deposit, when puppies are 4-5 weeks of age. Once again, take note that placing a deposit does not guarantee you a puppy, it does guarantee, however, that you will not be passed up if we do have a puppy of suitable temperament & personality for your situation. We reserve the right to remove anyone from our list at any time, for any reason. If that happens and a deposit has been paid, the deposit will be refunded in full within 10 business days. The actual puppy selection process doesn't happen until puppies are 9 - 10 weeks of age, when personality, drive and structure can be assessed. We will definitely take color/sex preferences into consideration but that is never the deciding factor nor do we allow people to choose puppies based on that or any other criteria. We decide which puppy goes to which home, we spend weeks and weeks with the puppies and we make every effort to place each puppy in the best home for that individual puppy and to provide each individual/family with the most suitable puppy. Most of our puppies are spoken for long before they are born, so if you are interested in future litters it is never to soon to get on our waiting list!
Pricing
All puppies within a litter are priced the same, regardless of color, sex, show, performance or companion quality. Prices will vary from litter to litter based on the cost of the stud fee, ear crops, tail docking, DNA testing, Vet visit, etc. Prices are generally somewhere between $3500-$4500.00, depending on the litter.
Pick Up
We do not ship puppies nor do we use transporters. You must pick your puppy up in person, and all family members must attend. We need to meet ALL of you! This gives us a chance to meet each prospective buyer and their family, in person and for you to meet us and in most cases the dam of your puppy. Puppies generally go to their new homes between 10-12 weeks of age.
We are located in Upstate South Carolina, about 20 minutes South of Greenville, SC. Click the link below to complete the Puppy Application.
