"Trina" 1968-1979 The memories linger, and our hearts still ache.
Our first Doberman "Trina" became part of our family in 1968. Trina is responsible for my passion for this breed. Over the years I have had the privilege of sharing my life with many wonderful Dobermans. Trina lived to be 11-1/2 years of age, with literally no health issues until the day we had to let her go due to bloat.
At Shelian we are dedicated to preserving the correct Doberman temperament, conformation and health. We are active in showing in Conformation and performance (obedience, rally, agility, etc.) events with our Dobermans and are members of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America.
We do not have a kennel, our dogs are part of the family and graciously allow us to live in their home. Our dogs are fully health tested and our breeding program prioritizes health and longevity. Puppies born here are a labor of love and as such prospective homes are well screened in an attempt to insure a safe, responsible, loving, forever home for each and every puppy.
If you are interested in joining our Doberman family, visit the Litterbox and Our Policy Pages, read through the information there and complete the Application. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have, or just to talk Dobermans.
